As part of its research activities, Minapath Development can analyze materials suspected to be at the origin of a pathology. It can be raw or machined materials.
According to their presentation (solid, powders, composites, fibers …), an adapted preparation makes it possible to examine the present mineral particles by scanning electron microscopy (Jeol JSM 6010LV Plus ) and to identify them by EDX micro-analysis (Oxford Detector EDS-SDD X-Max 50mm2). The results can then be compared to those obtained during the analysis of the patient’s biological samples in order to corroborate the hypothesis of a pathology of exposure to mineral particles.
